In today's digital-first world, basic computer literacy is essential, yet children and youth from economically weaker sections—especially in rural and semi-urban areas—remain deprived of this crucial skill. A study by Mahesh Foundation revealed that many government schools lack computer labs, students have no digital access at home, and job-seeking youth are often rejected for lacking basic computer knowledge. Due to infrastructure limitations, establishing permanent labs in every school is not feasible. To address this gap, Tech on Wheels – Mobile Computer Lab offers an innovative solution by bringing computer education directly to underserved communities, empowering them with the digital skills needed for a brighter future.
