Our Challenge
Ensuring quick and reliable medical transportation has been a major concern for children residing at Mahesh Foundation’s Care Home and for individuals in need of urgent medical assistance. In the absence of a dedicated ambulance, accessing hospitals during emergencies becomes difficult and time-sensitive care is often delayed. This gap restricts timely medical intervention, placing vulnerable beneficiaries especially children living with HIV at greater risk and affecting their overall health and safety.
With the support of Litens Automotive (India) Private Limited, Mahesh Foundation was able to acquire a fully equipped ambulance designed to support emergency medical needs. The vehicle is fitted with essential medical equipment, emergency care supplies, and communication systems to ensure effective response during transit. Operated by trained personnel, the ambulance enables safe and prompt transportation to healthcare facilities, significantly strengthening emergency response capabilities and improving access to critical medical care.
